As part of the Rethinking Education Lecture Series and celebrating the third cycle of admissions of the Bard College degree program at Brooklyn Public Library, please join Dr. Robert E. Fullivove, Associate Dean for Community and Minority Affairs at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, as he discusses the future of higher education and reflects on his 50 years as an educator.

Robert E. Fullilove serves as the Senior Advisor to the Bard Prison Initiative’s public health program. He is the Associate Dean for Community and Minority Affairs, Professor of Clinical Sociomedical Sciences and the co-director of the Community Research Group at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. He also co-directs the newly formed degree program in Urbanism and Community Health in the Mailman School’s Department of Sociomedical Sciences. Dr. Fullilove has authored numerous articles in the area of minority health and has twice been awarded the Distinguished Teaching Award at the Mailman School of Public Health.
