The BardBac is a community of adult scholars pursuing BA degrees at Bard College. Radically expanding access to rigorous, full-time, tuition-free college opportunity has been BPI’s mission for more than 20 years — first in prisons, then in community-based institutions, and now, we’re bringing that work home to Bard’s main campus.

BardBac students enroll full-time on Bard’s campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and enter a network of students from Bard’s other adult education programs — in libraries, community organizations, and prisons — who are doing college in unconventional places, often against considerable odds.
