19th BPI Commencement
at Taconic Correctional Facility

Protocol for Entering the Prison
Before entering Taconic all guests will pass through a security checkpoint similar to that at any airport – you must present a valid photo ID. All electronic devices, including cell phones and cameras, are strictly prohibited. Please minimize what you bring inside – handbags, briefcases, and accessories should be left in the car. Dress is business casual. Guests are asked to arrive by 5:00 p.m. to allow time for security processing. The ceremony will end at approximately 8:00 p.m. You are welcome to join us for dinner after the ceremony or leave at that point. The event will end at approximately 9:00 p.m.

FROM NYC TO TACONIC CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
- Get on Taconic State Parkway in Milan from NY-9G S and NY-199 E
- Follow Taconic State Parkway, I-84 E and and take exit 20S to merge onto I-684 S
- From I-684 S, take exit 5 for NY-117
- Continue on Rte 117 Bypass Rd
- Turn left onto Harris Road
- Destination will be on the left
FROM BARD TO TACONIC CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
- Get on FDR Dr
- Take exit 17 for Toll Bridge toward I-278/Bruckner Expy/Grand Central Pkwy
- Continue onto Robert F. Kennedy Bridge
- Take I-278 E/Bronx exit toward I-87 N
- Merge onto I-278 E and follow
- Take exit 52 toward Bronx River Pkwy N/White Plains
- Merge onto Bruckner Blvd
- Continue onto Bronx River Pkwy N (signs for Sprain Pkwy/Taconic Pkwy)
- Continue onto Taconic State Parkway N
- Merge onto Saw Mill Pkwy N/Saw Mill River Pkwy N toward Brewster
- Take exit toward Harris Rd/Railroad Ave
- Turn left onto Harris Rd/Railroad Ave
- Turn right onto NY-117 N/Harris Road
- Turn left; destination will be on the left
